Katherine Sewell Named Swimmer of the Year for the South Central League for 2021-2022
The League meet took place on February 4th and 5th, where SHS Swimming swept the floor. Emma Sewell took 1st in the 100 fly, and 2nd in the 200 IM. Katherine Sewell placed 2nd in the 100 breast and 2nd in the 100 free. Katherine also earned the South Central League Swimmer of the year award. Coach Melinda Hunzeker was also named Coach of the year. Both Rusch Pepper and Kyla Davis made personal records. The Swim team also competed at state on February 11th and 12th, competing in six events. The 200 freestyle relay placed 15th at state, placing higher than any Sargent Student has before.
