We are writing to inform you that school will be cancelled on Thursday, March 13th, 2025, due to a high number of staff and student absences. Many members of our school community will be traveling to Loveland to support our Sargent basketball team in the state championship.
We’ve made this decision to ensure the safety and proper supervision of our students (we do not have adequate substitute coverage) AND we want to allow our school community the opportunity to cheer on our athletes as they compete at the state level.
Our regular school schedule will resume on Monday, March 24, 2025 and any assignments due on Thursday will be automatically extended to that Monday the 24th following Spring Break. To accommodate this cancellation, we will be using one of our scheduled snow days. Please be aware that as we move toward the end of the school year, if we go over our allotted snow days, we will need to make those days up on a Friday to meet the state-required education hours.
We encourage those who are able to travel to Loveland to show their support for our basketball team. For those unable to attend, we will share updates on the school’s Facebook page. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility. Go Farmers!
