Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are writing to inform you that school will be cancelled on Thursday, November 14, 2024, due to a high number of staff and student absences. Many members of our school community will be traveling to Denver to support our Sargent volleyball team in the state tournament.
We’ve made this decision to ensure the safety and proper supervision of our students (we do not have adequate substitute coverage) AND we want to allow our school community the opportunity to cheer on our athletes as they compete at the state level.
Our regular school schedule will resume on Monday, November 18th and any assignments due on Thursday will be automatically extended to Monday. To accommodate this cancellation, we will be using one of our scheduled snow days. Please be aware that as the school year progresses, if we go over our allotted snow days, we will need to make those days up on a Friday to meet the state-required education hours.
We encourage those who are able to travel to Denver to show their support for our volleyball team. For those unable to attend, we will share updates on the school’s Facebook page. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility.
